Is my MCP server exposed to the internet?
Your tunnel URL is reachable, but every request is authenticated on your Mac with a bearer token before anything is forwarded to a local server. Unauthenticated requests get rejected with a 401, and nothing reaches your apps.
Which AI clients are supported?
Any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth discovery, including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Grok. Warplet implements standard OAuth 2.1, so new clients work without updates.
Does my Mac need to stay on?
Yes. Warplet bridges to servers running locally, so your Mac must be awake and online for AI clients to reach them. When it's offline, requests simply fail; nothing is queued or stored.
